Here’s what’s happening this Sunday. Worship Service: With the second Sunday of the month, we are hosting two worship services – 8:00am and 10:00am. The 8:00am service is a contemporary style, with our 10:00am service more traditional. The sermon message will be the same for both services. If you haven’t attended one of our 8:00am services before, I’d encourage you to come check it out! The style of worship is different from our 10:00am service, but wonderfully meaningful and spirit filled. This Sunday we are continuing our Lenten journey with a look at ‘His Last Words From the Cross’. I am beginning this series with the Gospel of Luke 23:26, 33-34. The sermon title is ‘Father, Forgive Them’. After Jesus’ arrest, the beatings he took, ridicule and spat upon, hoisted upon the cross – nailed to it, surrounded by jeering crowds of people, Jesus said: “Father, forgive them; for they do not know what they are doing.”
