Hermann Regional Economic Development Council (HREDC) is having a fund raiser at the Stone Hill Pavilion on June 22. Like any fund raiser we are looking for donations of auction items as well as cash donations to help successfully launch the effort to improve our community and provide for future generations. What is HREDC? HREDC’s Mission is: “To secure a prosperous future for the greater Hermann area and surrounding communities by facilitating collaborative efforts to strengthen our economic base, build upon our quality of place and develop the next generation of businesses and residents.” HREDC is made up of community representatives from the Chamber of Commerce, Industrial Development Authority, City of Hermann, Gasconade County, Gasconade County R1 School District, Hermann Area District Hospital and existing businesses and industries in the community. The “Region” HREDC is attempting to facilitate is defined by the Hermann School District and Hospital District. This encompasses portions of Gasconade, Montgomery, Warren and Franklin County. Peoples Savings Bank proudly has three Bank affiliated employees working with the council to try and encourage growth in the Bank’s Marketplace. They are Bart Toedtmann, Chris Theissen and Ron Kraettli.
