Hermanus - I always get the same sense of homecoming when I get here, just like when I go to Cape Town. It is famous for its sheer cliffs, old harbour, and whale museum. It sports quaint little shops to entrance, enchant and lure you into - apart from being one of the prime tourist destinations, it is certainly a place well worth visiting! I just love it and I am staying here right on the edge of this cliff. This is situated just north-east of Cape Town - about an hour and halves drive from the Mother City. It is here that the whales come from Antarctica every year give birth to their calves. So I hope to get in some whale watching, with the information I am seeking to complete my book on Africa.
