Hey FB Family, If you receive a phone call from Ph: 415. 200-2910 and or Ph: 202.751-2575, and the caller claims to be from the U.S. Treasure Department requesting information such as your SSI # etc and or money from you in order to prevent a warrant for your arrest from being issued… Hang up and call your local Sheriffs department to have the incident logged. The caller is highly aggressive and persistent, I have received 4 phone calls in the last 24-hours from this same joker and with each call/ message left he escalated the threat of arrest or worse if I did not cooperate. The Sonoma County Sheriffs Department is aware of this scam and they encourage people to call in with any information if contacted by this individual. Again, the caller is very persistent; He continued to call and left intimidating messages after I made it clear I was on to him and his games. He has a heavy accent and becomes hostile when challenged, he will offer to have you speak to his supervisor and even offer to give you his Federal #ID number, its all nonsense. From this gathering of complaints, the Sheriffs department can educate members of our community about this scam; I dread to think of some sweet old Grandmother receiving one or many of these sorts of calls.
