Hey Folks, I am extremely grateful to Friends of Liberia home and abroad who helped to fund our first phase of Global Call to Action against Ebola in Liberia. Our phase one took us through to Grand Bassa with distribution of over 300 buckets, 100 cartoons of chlorine, 25 cartoons tide soap, 30 bags of rice, 23 containers of oil, 23 bags of salt and 25 cartoons of energy biscuits. These anti Ebola supplies and assorted food items supplied Quarantine homes in the Buchanan areas and parts adjacent like District 1, 2 & 3 and Health facilities (GoL Hospital, CEM Clinic, Catholic Health Center). In Lofa County we were able to distribute about 200 buckets, 60 cartoons of chlorine, 25 cartoons tide soap, 30 bags of rice, 17 containers of oil, 25 cartoon of energy biscuits to both quarantine homes and communities in Quadugboni, Vionjama and parts adjacent. The total cost is put at USD$12,480.00. THANKS TO THE SWEDISH EDUCATION FUND FOR LIBERIA PROJECT for coordinating the oversea fund raising. BRAVO to the Ebola Taskforce of both Lofa and Bassa.
