Hey Friends, tonight my reign as SA DMC champion comes to an end, I just want to say best of luck to all the DJs competing tonight. Heres my routine from 2008 where I came 2nd in SA / VIC and made it through to my first DMC australian final.... Even though I came 2nd it was the first time the judges stood up and started taking notice and is still probably my best and favourite routine I have come up with. And still one of my proudest moments. If anyone out there is considering putting it on the line like this in any art form my advise is DO IT!!! Regardless of the outcome it will be the best thing youve ever done... I still get tingles watching this remembering the pressure and exhilaration of hearing the crowd get into it.... Getting up there and putting it on the line with the business and saying..... I AM!!!! If youre in Adelaide tonight try and make it down to Soundpond.net for the SA DMC final, I will be doing a showcase, judging and sitting there very very relieved that I dont have to battle my practice partners DJ SNAIR and DJ DART... :) Respect, love and peace to you all!!!
