Hey MNRACA! I was very happy to be one of the jurors for the Minnesota Museum of American Arts current biennial exhibition. Along with Christina Chang and Meredith Lynn I feel like we put together a fantastic exhibition that represents a good swath of Minnesota artists. They were a lot of fun to work with. My only regret is that as a juror I couldnt compete! Next time... As an exhibition it is a diverse and dynamic offering. I also have to add that there was a lot of excellent work rejected. Minnesota is a state (note the word state..not just the cities) with a unique and wide ranging contemporary artistic community that needs to be celebrated and collectors would do well to collect!
