In this series we are trying to help our students gain an understanding of the character that Jesus displayed on this earth that allowed Him to overcome the world. Our memory verse for this series is 1 John 5:4 - For everyone who has been born of God, overcomes the world. Week 1: Overcomers Are Original! In order to overcome this world we need to be exactly who God made us to be. Gods original design for our lives serves as a model for others when we follow Gods example. Week 2: Overcomers Are Obedient In order to overcome the world we have to make the choice to comply with orders and requests from our parents, teachers or coaches and we need to have an attitude that says life is about more than just ME. *Make sure your students join us for the remainder of this powerful series!
