Hey RUSH! I desperately need you guys to pray for me for the next couple of days. On Tuesday of next week, Ill be performing a spoken word piece at my school in front of the the entire student body, faculty, administration, etc. Most, if not all, of the performers there will be presenting pieces about black history and other concepts related to that. However, as for me, Ill be taking this opportunity to preach the Gospel. God gave me a vision about a year ago showing me that I would perform a piece at this assembly and that it would result in hundreds of my peers getting saved. Im not a super poetic or spoken word kind of guy, but I believe Gods giving me this opportunity to really shine a light in the dark place that MLK is. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE pray for me as I prepare to show Gods love in a way that my school, MLK Magnet, has never seen before. Im gonna need the power of God and the support of my RUSH family to see a huge change come about next Tuesday. I know this was long, but thanks for reading! -Akan
