Hey again. I wanted to revise my old post but figured itd just be better to delete and remake. So I apologize for so many postings. Anyway, Im hoping to rehome this 7 week old Lab/ Golden Retriever mix. And only because I have a more demanding job that doesnt leave me enough time to properly care for her. On top of that, I will be attending school so Im really not going to have enough time at all. The agreement forms were copied word for word (with a few exceptions) from a form I had to fill out in the adoption of my Chihuahua mix from the Caruthersville Humane Society. AND if you went to adopt from any shelter or rescue, you would essentially have to sign a similar document(s). Its not unreasonable. These contracts ensure that you take care of the animal and understand that the animal is a part of your family. Ill be happy to answer any questions regarding the agreement forms. She has had her first 5-in-1 and has been given tablets for roundworms and hookworms. In a few days, she will be given tapeworm tablets to get ride of any infestation she may have. The rehoming fee is $40 with the signing of both agreements. HOWEVER, if you can provide me with a vet reference (or two), I may be persuaded to give her to you for free. And you still have to sign the agreements. Dont just think Im going to accept the references without calling them and asking if they actually have you on file and if youre honest. Again, this is only to ensure youre trustworthy and capable of caring for a puppy. I prefer if you have older children or that you supervise your young children when they play with the dog. Making sure that the puppy (or child) doesnt get hurt. Teasing, rough housing, or otherwise hurting could possibly lead to aggression. Its just a precaution. PLEASE UNDERSTAND that I am only being so anal about this is because this puppy means a lot to me. I care more about this animal then I do about your feelings.
