Hey all.....I have a request - Im entering a small business contest (the 2015 Small Business Achievement Awards) to be exact. Its hosted by BMO and American Express and Air Miles. Im entering under the Social Responsibility aspect with regards to offering FREE tags to Rescue groups and part of the entry is to demonstrate how my small business does this and to provide testimonials in this regard. Social Responsibility - Awarded to a small business that has demonstrated a significant positive impact through a product, program, service or business-operation model. - Must be a small business that employs between 1 and 50 people (including the business owner and/or founder). - Must provide (through data or testimonials) evidence of the successful positive impact of the business on the community, the environment or the area of social change (e.g., participation in community councils, boards or clubs providing support or services to the public). - Must have clearly communicated a long-term goal or vision concerning community, social or environmental improvement. Now, Im not doing this to stroke the ego or toot my own horn - there are some great prizes up for grabs (business mentoring, air miles, biz advice from Mr. Wonderful from Dragons Den, etc) I would LOVE to utilize the exposure if I won to reach even more rescue groups and possibly get some corporate backing ( $$) to keep supplying rescues indefinitely with free tags and possible even more! Sooo...what I am asking is that if any of the rescues that I have donated tags, products, gift certificates to could just drop a short note either here or send me an e mail of youre more comfortable with that just acknowledging that Apple Melon Designs has helped your rescue in any capacity that would be extra super amazingly giant wonderful and kindly appreciated. :)
