Hey everyone! A few small changes in details for the election tonight. The bios I received from the two candidates for President were pretty different (due to me not really making it clear what we were looking for). So, in the interest of not making the election about who wrote the better bio, I will be allowing the candidates to instead make a verbal presentation on themselves, their vision, etc. before we hold the vote. As it stands now, the candidates are as follows: President: Julie Maurer, Ruth Hook. Vice President: No candidates (I will be proposing that the loser of the President election be appointed the VP). Budget Authority, Administrative Authority: No candidates confirmed, but I have spoken to a few people who are interested, and I will be including my name for one of these positions as well. Dont forget that theres still time to get in touch with me (deadline is the beginning of the meeting) if youre interested in one of these authority positions, and that there are still opportunities to be involved in planning, etc. if youre not a club officer.
