Hey everyone, I have some wonderful news. Today, I was offered the job as Assistant Director at GovWatch for the Missouri Chamber of Commerce. I feel excited and humbled to be the Assistant Director and I am looking forward to starting my new job. At the same time, it is with a heavy heart that I will no longer be working for Chrissy Dannenberg Sommer. For almost a year now, I have been very proud of her and all she has accomplished. She has shown great leadership and it was the toughest call to make to tell her about my new position. I will always be grateful for the opportunity she gave me. I will not be leaving forever. I will still be around the Capitol. If you would like to be Representative Sommers LA, please send me your cover letter and resume and I will pass it along to the Representative. Duties include, but are not limited too: -Dealing with Constituents on a daily basis -Making sure the Representatives schedule is kept up to date -Helping schedule school tour groups and school visits to the Capitol -Researching legislation for the upcoming session The hours are long January through May and are more flexible from end of session through the beginning of session.
