Hey folks, thanks for your patience and I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving. Now onto tonights 80s Trivia questions- the first one you will either know or not, but you can always guess. The second set are a little tougher. 1. What basketball expansion team set the NBA record for loses at the beginning of the 1988 season by dropping the first 17 games? 2. This is a list of three TV series finales that because the show was cancelled, the cliffhanger ending was forever left unresolved. See if you can remember them. a. This show which was popular during the late 70s came to a halt in 1981 with several unresolved story lines such as a suicidal Chester Tate preparing to kill Danny Dallas and second wife Annie after catching them in bed together, an irreversibly hypnotized Jodie Dallas believing himself to be a 90-year-old Jewish man, Burt Campbell preparing to walk into an ambush orchestrated by his political enemies and Jessica Tate about to be executed by a Communist firing squad. b. This show about an alien named Gordon Shumway, who is supposedly the last know survivor of him home world. In the season finale of its fourth season, he receives a message from space that there were two other survivors and they want to populate another home world. But before he can meet up with them the Alien Task Force (kind of like MIBs) show up and are about to arrest him. It wasnt until years later that we found out what happened in special made for TV show on ABC. c. Another 70s show that made it all the way to 1986 with the main character Eugene Gatling running for governor against his old head of house old. They make peace with an ongoing feud they have been having up until that time and decide to watch the election results come in together. The news caster breaks in with the results and the show ends with a freeze frame of the two staring at the TV. Good, Good, Good Luck!
