Hey friends and family who happen to be geeks! The FilmGeek crew (Myself, David Mackay, Shayla and maybe Cameron Moore) are going to be shooting/recoding the new episode of the FilmGeek podcast early next week. The subject is going to be something very close to our hearts....World Peace. Ha! Just kidding! Who cares about world peace? We got bigger fish to fry! Were doing an in depth discussion of JOSS WHEDON!!!!! Thats right! FIREFLY! SERENITY! BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER! ANGEL! DOLLHOUSE! THE AVENGERS! ANYTHING ELSE WE CAN THINK ABOUT AND FIT IN! This one may end up being a 2 parter, folks. But I for one, cannot WAIT to shoot this one. Ive been a Whedon Acolyte since 1997 and the first episode of Buffy on the WB network and have laughed and cried and cheered so many times while watching a Joss show that Ive lost count and finally I get to blabber on with other Whedon fans for the whole wide web to witness. Whoa, that was a lot of Ws in a row. Anything you want us to talk about in particular? have a favorite episode you want to geek out about? Are you team Angel ot team Spike? Did you suffer massive depression like I did whenj Firefly was canceled? Did you sing along to the ballad of Jayne? Were you crushing on Kaylie? Did you try and learn chinese so you could follow along? Did you have nightmares about the Reavers? Did you, at least once, ride at top speed on the highway singing You cant take the sky from me?
