Hey gang, Im posting this for a friend of mine.... When I posted some pictures of this flat bed in the back ground of my truck a couple of months ago, it got lots of comments. I decided not to buy this one, and now the buddy of mine that owns it has decided to sell. It is an original round corned flat bed, and pretty damn nice! 55 GMC first series flat bed. 270, four speed, no rust in the floors. Matter of fact, the only rust is the drivers side cab corner. Great patina and door signs from its previous life. Chrome grill and windshield surrounds. The only body damage is the left front fender, and that can be fixed. A quick look over shows all that is missing is the air cleaner and seat frame. I didnt check to see if the engine turned, but I have no reason to believe that it doesnt, and Id bet that a carb rebuild and battery and some plug wires would have this one running. Hes asking 3500.00. Now, if you dont like this price, dont worry about it. If you think its too high and you are interested, call Larry at 623 - 332 - 4232 and ask if hell take less. You might be surprised! He did mention if somebody wants to go short bed with this, that he does have a short frame that would go with the truck....
