Hey guys...I wish I was closer and I could help out a bit more - TopicsExpress

Hey guys...I wish I was closer and I could help out a bit more directly. A couple of things to keep in mind right now that are very important. 1. Getting the word out: the more people that know she is missing, the more eyes in the Gander area looking, the greater the likelihood she will be spotted. 2. Getting her spotted: this is crucial. Right now, I would suggest limiting the search area to the area wherever she went missing from unless there is a confirmed sighting else where. Most dogs will tend to stick around in one area unless something drives them out of that area. Here is a write up giving some tips an advice I did a number of years ago. Others have found it helpful...https://facebook/notes/for-the-love-of-dogs/dealing-with-lost-dogs/10151685042319609 Here is a list of organizations who can help you get the word out..https://facebook/notes/for-the-love-of-dogs/lost-dog-posting-and-resources/10151712316554609 For those of you who are thinking the worst...stop that thinking. While she is small, dogs are hardy and can survive just fine. I found Barney, a shih tzu after being missing for over three weeks during some of the coldest and worst weather St. Johns has ever gone through. He was a little lighter but fine. Kashmere, a pittie, went missing for almost two weeks during the same type of conditions and was found just fine. Mia, a boxer, went missing last month for over a week and was found. Dont loose faith, keep looking, get her spotted and home to her mom If you want to run anything by me, do not hesitate to drop me a line Ken Reid
