Hey guys, regarding my foster pup being moved, I think this is all - TopicsExpress

Hey guys, regarding my foster pup being moved, I think this is all we need to say to clear to my side. Everything will be fine and Im not giving any more of my time to the drama that surrounds it. Jake was moved because 1) the rescue has the right to move any dog at any time, and 2) they have a policy against remote collars and prong collars, thus disagreeing with my methods. Problem is, he came in on a prong, and as my training client first and foremost- I have that in writing. So it was my condition of fostering him that we be seen and treated as such during his stay, including assisting in his adoption matching. Again, in writing. Unfortunately for Jake, nobody gave us a heads up when they decided to actually hold up this policy and launch a campaign against our successful tools. Outside of the snippets you get here, which show a great growth and functionality actually, nobody from the rescue board even saw me work with him to assess if their accusations against the tools are accurate. Is it me, or is that not crazy? Nobody came to me to say, sorry Charlie, you either change your program or he moves. That would have been too logical I guess. Too respectful and grown up. My issue isnt with disagreeing about methods, I know my work and my results, my issue is with helping 11 of the toughest dogs in the last year+ and being crapped on because of egos. That does suck. Sucks a lot. My issue is also with the stress on Jake, its impossible to NOT stress a dog when they transition, no matter what your methods. No worries, Home2K9 is about so much more. We have completed our time with the rescue, theres plenty of other avenues we can take to donate our time, money, knowledge, and hospitality. Proof is in the pudding and I am always open, willing and able to discuss or debate, I only wish there were more people in the world with the guts to do so. To your training success, Cam
