How can one who claims to be a Christian walk by people who are homeless each and every day and not give ANYTHING, not even a word of encouragement or a prayer, not even a silent prayer! Too often I hear people make disparaging remarks when they see people walk through a train car asking for support, such as: He/she probably got more money than me or He/she just wants the money to get high, their lying about trying to buy food for their damn baby. How sad. How can one profess to be a Christian and worship a man who said: Foxes have dens and birds have nests but the Son of Man has no place to lay his head...Matthew 8:20. Sounds like a homeless, NOT soul-less or purpose-less or saint-less or human-less man to me. How can a Christian pray to one who was homeless while on this earth and look down or despise those who are in a similar challenging position today? Im not saying that one must give to everyone but, at minimum, a silent prayer for everyone you see in a challenging predicament should be done. Next time you walk by a homeless person or persons on your way shopping then go to a restaurant and stuff yourself then walk back and pass by that same homeless person or persons and its freezing outside...then Sunday comes and your praising The Lord and your whooping and falling out and are the loudest one in the church and every word out of the pastors mouth you have to say Praise the Lord, are you truly a Christian or are you just frontin...talking loud and saying nothing!
