Hey guys, this christmas I bring to you a bitter sweet video we wrote and also Im gonna answer a very popular question about Walk and Roll Studios. ---------------------------------------- I am a person, who likes to inspire and very much like to see people getting inspired in lives. In this life, I have so much to share with you, about life, about relationship, about love, about family, about education, about friendship, and so much more. Where do my stories come from? It came from you guys, small stories of daily lives. Just imagine, you pick up your pillow, the one that you always sleep with. Just recall where did that pillow come from, who bought it? Who gave it to you? Who washes it? Who shared this pillow with you? Did you ever neglected this pillow? Everything in life has a story. Rachel and I hope to and aspire to churn all these meaningful stories into film. So stay with us, Rachel Kelly and I and our Walk and Roll Studios. Cause we make videos not for the eyes of people, but for the hearts. A lot of people ask me why name Walk and Roll Studios? This christmas, I will be Santa, and tell you the meaning behind Walk and Roll. Theres two reasons behind this: 1) Rachel is a dancer, shes always on her toes. So 6-7 years ago, when we were still both getting to know each other, her friends called her Toe instead of her surname Toh because of her ballet dancing (standing on her toes). I really admire that talent of hers, and am very much attracted to that. I came to Ngee Ann Poly as Yu Lun, but upon hearing so many mispronunciation of Yu, I decided to ask people to call me Lun instead. And in Mandarin, Lun means Wheel. So after being together, we came up with this name Walk and Roll Studios as Toe walks and Wheel rolls. For as tough as this filmmaking journey goes, we will be right beside each other walking and rolling. 2) Walk and Roll is also our motto in life, in filmmaking. We always say this Everything in life is worth capturing. Even a quiet corner of an alley can have a story behind it. Life is so beautiful, so whichever path of life you are walking on, never stop rolling your camera. Finally, I want to say Merry Christmas to all my friends and family :) I love you guys.
