Hey we have two BIG News items for everyone today! Earls Back Alley Coneys is opening today.....for a new and unique lunch experience go and try em out!!! The main entrance is in back alley where the Pocket Park is in front of Kirbys or next to Hoopers. The other big news item is we need to set the record straight on what happened on Friday Night April 18th. The Okmulgee Daily Times and the Okmulgee News Network who we both admire and enjoy very much reported a news story that wasnt 100 percent accurate. Not to their fault. The customers who were in the news report had left on their own they were not disruptive at all and was not asked to leave but Justin who was at the bar did cut them off after a few drinks and they were ok with that and gave no problem. Their son drove who had been waiting on a to go order had picked em up and was driving when he backed out of parking spot and hit another vehicle. Dwight was outside checking out things like he always does had seen the accident and asked him to pull in. Dwight then came inside to get owner of vehicle that was hit they were there for a birthday party and was enjoying them selves very much. While we were outside looking at the damage the mother and dad of the kid was upset with the kid and had started walking south before the police arrived. The police arrived quickly and was taking care of everything and while doing their accident report there were five shots coming from the west over by the Orpheum Theater. The police officers promptly went over to 7th St without hesitation and was looking for the persons responsible for gunshots. We all feel quite lucky that the police officers were there at the time of this incident and handled it so professionally. They didnt find the cause of the shots yet but very confident that they will wrap it up soon. The police officers came back to the accident scene and took care of the young driver and even followed him home. If we have any new information of these unfortunate circumstances we will let ya know. And stay tuned for some of Dwights and Chrissys Awesome Specials this week!!! Rumor has it one is Shrimp Cocktail and like Dwight would say just yummy!!!
