Hi All, I just want to say THANK YOU for your amazing support. This fight has not been easy with the beatdown that comes at us from the very people we try to help because of the indoctrination they have suffered under for so long. Also, there are VERY FEW people who have become advocates for the fact that it is the right thing to do instead many become involved to promote themselves or because they think they can make a buck off the media involvement. I can say that anyone looking for riches or fame in this needs to find it somewhere else and shame on them for using the victims. I NEVER wanted to do the media but soon realized that when victims are as fragile as those I helped that SOMEONE had to be a voice for them. I also had to decide if I was willing to sacrifice my chance of ever seeing my family again or being that voice. I like to think I chose the right thing but still I lost something very dear to me in the process. I have had only 1 conversation with my Mom since I began this fight and that was one of the ETP episodes that was not shown here. I began this fight when I made a promise to my baby sister and fought with my heart and soul every day trying to keep my promise to her. Ruby left two years ago and it has been nice to spend time with her and her children and I had not realized that running wide open for 12 years giving every part of myself to those I tried to help had drained me so much. After Ruby got out and while filming the show, watching the way everyone was catering to THUG WILLIE, really took a toll on me that was unexpected and I realized that I needed to take some down time for ME. Anyway, I just wanted to say I am amazed and touched by all of you and your support and want to give a shout out to those victims that have fought through the trauma of abuse to stand tall against the criticism and even their own families to fight back with integrity and heart (I hope I dont forget anyone) because they are, in my opinion, THE TRUE HEROES: BRENT JEFFS BRANDON JEFFS JONI HOLM JAN JOHANSON AUNT JENNY THESE ARE THE FEW THAT I CAN SAY HAVE LEFT THE VICTIMIZATION BEHIND THEM, FOUGHT BACK TO FREE OTHERS AND NEVER ASKED FOR A THING FOR THEMSELVES BUT THE ABILITY TO LIVE FREE. And through it all took an emotional, financial, and sometimes even a physical beating from those they loved as well as those who hated them. I LOVE YOU ALL. FLORA JESSOP
