Hi All, Its Opie here. I had a totally pawsome day today. I woke up at Dog Pad Inc. where I stayed for a little while with Tory Kretsch, my favorite boarding place because I was having trouble going up and down the stairs at the new place. Then, dogmom came and picked me up and we went on an all day adventure. First, we went to Sunset Pond in Burnsville by the apartments where we lived for a long time. I let dogmom believe that I didnt know she took the short cut and we didnt go all the way around the pond, cuz I was tired. After the walk, we went up to see Jennifer Grossman Huber. Jennifer is my favorite dog walker of all time. I really put her through the wringer when I first got here in Minnesota. And she used to take care of Gomer and me when dogmom was traveling for work. It was nice to see her and to get Victor and Gladys all riled up. After that, we stopped to see Dr. Becca Amstutz at Perpetual Motion | Animal Chiropractic for a minute or two. And then we stopped to see Kim Potts King at King Kong Cash Inc in Bloomington. Kim took my picture with dogmom. Next, we stopped at McDonalds and I got a cheeseburger happy meal. Thats my favorite, but it has been years since I got one. I didnt eat the apples ... or the toy. But I ate everything else. I even drank the apple juice box. LOL. After I ate the McDonalds, dogmom stopped at the new place for a minute. I thought that Greg was going to come with us the rest of the day, but he stayed home for some reason. Then, we went to Kreuser Veterinary Clinic and I met some new people. I was really tired and worn out, but I tried to let them know I wasnt. Anyways, I laid down on the blanket and dogmom held me and I went to sleep for the very last time. It was a good day. And a good life. Im going to see Gomer and Floyd and Floppy on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge. Wuf Ya! - Opie [5/1/1999 - 1/2/2015]
