Hi All , firstly im not a wasps fan , in fact im not a rugby fan , I joined your group to gauge the feelings of wasps fans to the 250 year lease of the Ricoh , as a Coventry city fan and I dont mean to offend, but wasps were not wanted at the Ricoh , as a fan of a team whos owners moved us without any thought I can sympathise , I can also say hand on heart if your owners have done this for money reasons then they have really dropped the ball on this one, Coventry is not a big rugby city , most fans of rugby in the area (those that dont support CRFC) tend to be saints or tigers fans , have they done this on the back of the attendance of the European semi that was held there ? dont forget that was a novelty for the area , so dont expect big crowds , they also wont get the revenue from parking and beverages etc as they are operated by outside contractors ( that was an issue for owners of CCFC as well ) - your plight mirrors that of our football club except you have secured a long lease ( not ownership) of the stadium - and I think I can say on behalf of all Coventry fans , we know how the majority must feel , we boycotted a ground only 35 miles away , from some of your posts I see many off you live a damn site further away than that
