Hi, Can anyone advise? I have a just 4 year old with a handful of signs and no speech. He is getting frustrated, especially when making transitions e.g. from play to a meal or from a meal to bedtime. So we have introduced PECS which have been very useful in explaining routines to him, as well as for him to ask for what he would like. However I need something more portable and am looking at an AAC for ipad. Has anyone used one with a child with Down’s Syndrome, or have experience of these iPad apps? Specifically I need one which I can use for my pictorial explanations as well as for the child to use. It is difficult to tell from the online videos and tutorials which would allow me to show a sequence of events.
