Tele-education 02 BE/B.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering recognized by AICTE (Desirable: Work experience in Satellite Communication / Telecommunication) 28.03.2014 08. Aerosol Radiative Forcing over India (ARFI) & NOBEL 02 M.Sc in Physics / Chemistry / Mathematics 28.03.2014 Fellowship amount: `18,000/- for ME/M.Tech and `16,000/- for others. In addition HRA and medical benefits will be allowed as per rules. All the above posts carry the above monthly remuneration plus admissible HRA. No TA/DA and official accommodation will be provided for appearing in the interview. The posts are purely contractual and co-terminus with the project without any provision for regularization. The contract is for a period of 1 (one) year and can be extendable depending upon the project requirements. The Director reserves the right to cancel/postpone the interview without any reason thereof. He also reserves the right to terminate the contract, even before completion of the project for which no appeal thereof shall be made. Candidates are required to be present 30 minutes before scheduled time on the date of interview for completion of necessary formalities. Canvassing in any form will disqualify the candidates. Candidates who do not fulfill eligibility condition will not be considered for the interview. Candidates are required to bring all relevant documents, certificates and mark sheets in original along with an application with full bio-data addressed to the Director, NESAC, Umiam. Candidates are also required to send a bio-data to the email id nesac.recruitment@rediffmail. A passport size photograph may also be affixed on the top of the application enclosing photocopies of certificates and mark sheets from Matriculation onwards duly attested. Candidates who already in employment under Central/State Government, Public Sector Undertakings or Autonomous Bodies are required to bring “No Objection Certificate” from the employer concerned. Note: 1) Number of positions indicated above are provisional and may vary depending on the actual requirement. 2) ME/M.Tech or its equivalent degree should be in first class with an aggregate minimum of 60% or CGPA/CPI grading of 6.5 on a 10 scale or equivalent and pre-eligibility qualification for ME/M.Tech or its equivalent should also be in first class with an aggregate of 65% (average of all semesters) or CGPA/CPI grading of 6.5 on a 10 scale or equivalent. BE/B.Tech/M.Sc/M.A. degree should be in first class with an aggregate minimum of 65% (average of all semesters) or CGPA/CPI grading of 6.5 on a 10 scale or equivalent. Rounding-off marks is not allowed. Age Limit: 18-30 years as on 07.03.2014. SC, ST, Ex-servicemen and Persons with Disabilities are eligible for age relaxation as per Government of India orders on the subject. Emoluments & Other benefits: In addition to the above mentioned fellowship amount, HRA at the prescribed rates in force at the place of posting will be paid and Medical benefits will be allowed as per extant rules. The fellowship amount shall be taken as Basic pay for this purpose. JRFs are eligible only for casual leave. Maternity leave as per Govt. of India instructions would be available to all female JRFs. Selection Process: The qualifications prescribed in this advertisement are the minimum requirement and the same does not automatically make candidates eligible to be called for interview. Only candidates fulfilling the essential conditions i.e. educational qualification, experience, age, etc, will be eligible for interview. General Conditions: (1) NESAC/DOS reserves the right not to fill all or any of the fellowships, if it so decides. (2) The JRFs are purely on temporary basis for a maximum period of one year or the period of the Project whichever is earlier. It may be noted that the JRFs do not carry any claim whatsoever for regular appointments in NESAC/DOS. (3) Candidates will have to produce all relevant original documents in proof of details furnished in their applications along with a set of attested copies of the testimonials, at the time of interview. In case any information furnished in the application is found to be wrong or false, the candidate will not be interviewed. (4) No interim correspondence will be entertained. (5) Canvassing in any form will result in disqualification.
