Hi Everyone, this is just a general reminder about buying 2nd hand - TopicsExpress

Hi Everyone, this is just a general reminder about buying 2nd hand IT equipment. This is very risky if you do not buy from someone who has tested the equipment first. e.g. Cash Converters and eBay all sell this kind of equipment sometimes at a cost almost that of retail. In some cases eBay sellers will give you no warranty. Cash Converters usually give you 28 day warranty, which definitely isnt long enough. 9 times out of 10 what you are buying is not that far from retail. Generally not worth the time and effort when you factor in the cost to fix and the down time that you will not be able to use the machine. If you have been unfortunate to have purchased something from cash converters or any other 2nd hand shop and it has died within 3 months of the purchase date i will give you 10% discount on labor and 5% discount on parts. *virus removal not included share and like this post and receive ESET Antivirus software Value $62 for ONLY $49
