Hi Family, todays revival type focuses on the teacher. It has been said the evangelist targets the world and the lost, the prophet the saved but embattled (or emerging), and the pastor the churches. The teacher undergirds them all. No other mantle or office holds this place in Gods service or society. Of the seven societal spheres, education is the only one that every human must pass through, including all ministers. Formal or informal, one on one or group, home or school, nothing happens apart from teaching. That means no revival succeeds without a godly teachers involvement. Teaching is the second half of the Great Commission, teaching them to obey.... Teachers revival style is discipleship, they instill more than impart. They engraft the disciplines of the faith. Evangelistic fervor draws and inspires. Prophetic wit penetrates and predicts. Pastoral nurture coaxes, motivates, maintains. But the teacher makes it all possible. The teacher settles believers in the essential elements of Christs gospel. They teach how to tap into and appropriate covenant promises. Teachers awaken the understanding and bring intelligence to inspiration. Reform the human psyche, teachers change the conscience to alter conduct. Their logic, order, sequence, and process retrain the behavior. with sound doctrine theybreform the habits. All to persuade people to stay saved. Teaching grows them up to produce and thrive in Christs kingdom. It instills godly disciplines that convert the soul to Christ. The teacher overhauls the mind and renovates the intellect so kingdom sense replaces carnal common sense. In scripture God launches revivals with teaching to solidify His harvests. Without it, His moves are just spiritual pep rallies that thrill the senses but neglect the soul.
