Hi Friends- Thank you so much for your prayers on behalf of our family this past week. Wanted to give you a quick update. Clara is out of the hospital! She was rushed to the ER, then a childrens hospital last week with a kidney and uti infection, double pneumonia and the flu. She was very sick. But she is completely well and back at home being a normal, crazy, 14-month-old now!!! We continue to pray for my sister Sarah whose water broke last week at 17 weeks. She is pregnant with identical twin girls, Maggie and Ellen and has also been diagnosed with TTTS. This exact time last Sunday it all felt very hopeless... but here we are seven days later and those babies are still fighting for life. Each day we are praying for a miracle. We need the girls to stay put for at least seven more weeks. So many people have sent Sarah words of encouragement. She has even gotten balloons and a journal and card games for her long stay in the hospital (she cant leave until the babies get here)! If you would like to send her a card or something to brighten her spirits at the hospital, our family welcomes you to do that. We are so grateful for the love being poured into her, her husband Ray and their daughter Abigail during this incredibly difficult season. Every word of faith and encouragement means a great deal! Weve been married for over 12 years and just now took the homeowner plunge. This week has looked a whole lot like boxes. A never-ending-forsaken-sea-of-boxes. A true Labor Day!
