Hi Friends, I just bringing this issue into ur knowledge. . .why now a days r Electricity Bill r increasing too much did u know y guys. . . if anyone know or anyone can explain? Because today i received my Eb bill amount Rs.1096/-, but the extra amount surcharge Rs.114 & special Meter rent Rs. 30 for each meter(i.e. 3 face) & Fixed service tax Rs. 30/-. (refer below images) Two months back i made a call to Eb office to enquired about my bill amount they simply say please look behind the bill receipt they will be consumer service for any assistance, k then i search the no. & i made a call to that no, the person took & said as i am JE, could you please come to directly well explain about the bill tariff, but there is no proper answer & he told the surcharge amount will be temporary only & it will not permanent payment, but today im asking that Eb person which he producing the bill, simply said that the surcharge will be permanent & they introduce the new amount as Meter rent instead of service charges (refer below images) . . .y should we pay for Meter Rent or Surcharge and all. really i frustrated For individual house they earning Rs.174/- extra payment, but when you think with crores of house it will be huge amount right . . . I really frustrated and ask that person to where should i report this? and he simply said the peoples are not asking any questions they simply receiving the bill & paying the amount & if you want to take some actions regarding this Eb bill, people should be together & meet the persons MLA, MPs, or Ministers so lets join together & atleast we can raise the question whether we get the resolution or not, Pls share this & i will explain the remaining issues later because i have to go for office
