Hi!:) I am looking for some advice RE my 18 month old leonberger boy,hes gradually over time become very leash frustrated ,he adores other dogs and his attention cannot be broken with food at all!.he has started growling and lunging pretty ferociously now and more recently has become almost aggressive,he is almost 9 stones and I find Im losing trust in him and Im not sure totally if he has potential to be aggressive,yesterday we met a 5 month old gorgeous Labrador puppy and I let him off the leash so as to stop his leash frustration so they could play but he was very rough with the puppy and growled whilst chasing him,I am usually very confident that he will never be aggressive but this unusual behaviour is shaking my confidence,I apologised profusely to the puppies owner,Can anyone tell me if this growling ,lunging etc is just play?..he is very well socialised and goes to doggydaycare 2-3 times a week where hes well loved and has lots of doggy mates!..
