Hi! I have some news, youll all be receiving an email any minute with the following info: We’re leaving on a Saturday, which means some of the giant “mega-ships” will be at the Port of Miami during the same time the Pearl will be there. These ships are on their normal rotation through the port and take up two terminals due to their size. For that reason, our boarding for Cayamo will be in a Tent Terminal. It’s a large air conditioned space (many of you used it last year), but theres not a lot of waiting room space like a normal terminal would have. We used the Tent this fall, and learned a few things. The most important is that boarding works best when people arrive different times throughout the day. This helps us avoid having a long line, and allows for YOU to have a quicker boarding experience. The email will contain a “suggested boarding time” – We realize that many of you will need to check out of hotels at certain times, or come straight to the port from a flight. But if you don’t fall into those categories, we recommend showing up at your time. If you can’t show up at your time, you don’t need to notify us. We trust everyone will do the best they can and this time will not be strictly enforced.
