Hi Jeremy Short Hope your well Yes, I did indeed go to Bugibba on two occassions !! Theres the Sottozero Gelato Factory on the corner off Spring Street and St Anthony - they make the best ice cream in the world All homemade and great service from the ladies running the place. If you do go, please make sure you mention my name to Anna .., The locals were descending on this place triple-double crazy - whilst the jerry tourists were getting ripped off with the sub-standard from the rip off merchants on the beach-front We drove up there twice from St Julians just to eat ice cream - as its simply divine. Its voted the best restaurant in Bugibba on TripAdvisor, even though it only serves ice cream - so that kinda says it all ..., St Pauls Bay down the road & Mellieha is nice for a meal and drive I was staying in St Julians - where the bay area is amazing and great bars and restaurants with the usual corporate filth. Paceville next door to me was mad. However, if I go again, I think I would stay on the island of Gozo or Comino - stunning places Very hot in November !! - nudge nudge wink wink Didnt go to Mdina I am afraid, although I did skirt around Rabat with my car which is on the way to Dingli The views of the sun-set from Dingli cliffs are to die for. Try and get up there on a Sunday before mid afternoon mass when the couples & familes all drive up there to get their pictures taken with the sun The local boys on Sunday morning - (real early), have races along the small steep stone wall roads around Dingli with their cars Great fun with my hire car !! I have some good material on Malta with me that you can have. Listen, I am down for the day at Waterside either on Friday 12th or 19th of December.
