Well we have had an amazing job opening come up for the start of our new term – January 12th 2015- at Si Ri Panya School in Koh Phangan! It is a mixed grade 5 and 6 class with 13 great students plus a classroom assistant for English and math! The package is: • 30,000 baht salary per month • 2 year contract • Work permit paid and organised by the school • Lesson plans for Math, English and science curriculum provided • 12 weeks paid holiday, • Teaching hours 9am to 3pm • Three free meals per day • Help relocating (1 week paid in a hotel/villa upon arrival if needed) Because the job has ‘just’ become available it luckily gives a UK teacher half a terms notice, which would make a transfer easy. We are a small school that has been open for three years but steadily growing with 47 students (but all class sizes are capped at 15 max). Our new purpose built school is now under construction and the roof is going on! We will be moving in the new building on April 28th 2015 – so excited.
