Hi, There was a girl who wrote here a couple of days ago about her father and how much he hated her, I just wanted to say youre not the only one here I swear. The thing is, I hate my dad. I do and Ive been struggling lately with it. I can state all the reasons why but it would take my state of mind and your time. All hes ever done was support me financially. Period. He just pays for my education and thats it, hes never been there for me. You see, I never had this father-daughter relationship, and because of that I always feel like I need love in my life. Always, and it just sucks. When I was 9 I got a B in an exam, he stopped talking to me for 2 months because he didnt like my grade and every couple of days he would bring a huge bag of chocolates and sweets and call me just to see him hand them to my brother just to tease me for the whole 2 damn months. And to make it even worse, when I was 15 I was sleeping in my bed and he was sleeping next to me then he started touching me in all my private parts, I was awake and I couldnt move, Its like I was paralyzed. I couldnt believe what just happened. And to be honest, I was too dumb that part of me didnt want to move so that he wouldnt be embarrassed next day when he knows that I was awake. I told my mom later, she didnt believe me or maybe she did but she just didnt want to destroy the so called happy family we are. And till this day, he keeps saying that Im nothing,a failure and an affliction to him. I cried myself to sleep for a whole week because of what he told me. But I figured out that his opinion does not in any kind of way define me. Ive tried to get over it, Im 19 and still trying to. I just wanted to vent out and Im sorry if I bothered you.
