Hi Tony. Im wondering if u can help me. I live in Griffith in NSW. Its a country town and very multicultural. It prides itself on multiculturalism. We dont have many boat people here that I know of. We dont even have a large muslim population....yet. The ones that are hear though are causing big problems. I have had friends beaten who dated them and last year a girl was alledgedly raped. I say alledgedly because the police said not enough evidence. A Indian man who got here via student visa stabbed his australian girlfriend to death in front of there infant son. We have pacific islander men bashing people and using woman for visas and then leaving them. My complaints to Julia Gillard and DIMA are ignored. Now im turning to the internet to get people to help me and basically Im getting ignored. In our town we have migrants setting up immigration help services. The people pay them $3000 and they help them apply for intervention. My problem is no one seems interested in this problem. Everyone wants to talk about the boats. Its a big issue I agree. We need to be acting on it as its the biggest way they get in. There are other ways though ie ministerial intervention and student visas then marriage. These two ways are whats fleecing my town. How do I get people to understand?
