Hi Volunteers, Those who wanted to get involved with the V8 Superfest- a month long program of activities- we are looking for volunteers. Just email us your name & mobile number & what you would be interested in helping out with. To assist with our parade management we’re looking for 70 volunteers to help on the day – this includes content co-ordinators, helium balloon teams, course marshals, merch distributors, registration assistants and more. We’re also looking for 100 volunteers – young, old, tall, short - to walk in our parade and represent the track and event officials of the Gold Coast 600, including previous Indy car events. Alongside the drivers on the day, we’re very keen to recognise the incredible contribution and association our volunteers have had with Motorsport on the Gold Coast. Parade Management Volunteers will be required 12noon to 5pm; Parade Walkers are invited from 1pm to 4pm. To assist with the operational aspects of the Memorabilia Museum we’re seeking 10 volunteers to help with management of the display pieces and visitation. This includes erection of assets, staffing and visitor help. Due to the unique nature of the items on display and security requirements, volunteers should only apply if they’re available for each day (Thurs 17 October to Mon 28 October – 12 days) and for a period of 4-8 hours each day. In addition to each of the above events, V8 Superfest will have another 30+ activities up and down the Gold Coast throughout October which you’re all invited to attend.
