Hi World Changers, Global Youth Day (GYD) is about to begin. For the entire 24 hours during this Sabbath (March 15), Adventist young people from all over the world will unite in this amazing web based ministry event hosted by the General Conference Youth Department (our World Youth leaders). There are literally millions of youth preparing ministry, outreach and service based activities around the world that will be either televised or loaded up onto the web during the next 24 hours. The slogan for the day is “Be The Sermon” which emphasizes how living lives of service and ministry put our words into action. The web link is: globalyouthday.org and all you need to do to become part of the 2014 GYD, is upload either videos or pictures of your youth group involved in ministry. The South Pacific Division will open the broadcasting of videos from three hubs. For those of you wanting to watch the live streaming of Global Youth Day go to the link below and then click on LIVE VIDEO (top right hand corner). Streaming starts New Zealand from 2-3pm (AEDT) at: https://globalyouthday.org/ Sydney from 3-4pm (AEDT) at: https://new.livestream/FindJesus/events/2838590 MELBOURNE from 4-5pm (AEDT) at: https://globalyouthday.org/ Seoul in Korea is featured next. Melbourne will also live stream the youth rally from 1:30-3:00pm so if you’d like to watch that the link is: https://new.livestream/accounts/7319063/events/2839324 Here’s how to upload your video so it can be considered for viewing on the GYD Hope channel: Load your video to YouTube and send the producers a private link on email. They will view it and consider the clip for the program. Not every clip will be used, however the producers will do their best to cover ministry from across the Pacific. The email addresses are: ashunty@gmail & claredo@me It’s best to email both as either person may respond. Regarding the best video format to use for YouTube, they can handle most formats, but the highest quality files are best – .mov, .mp4, .m4v, .avi etc. Videos should be between 10 seconds and 3 minutes in length. If you’d prefer to send in pictures, send to the emails listed above via email or wetransfer. Please send your best quality pictures even if the file size is large. There is a GYD smart phone app developed as well, however, we would recommend using email or wetransfer so as to get the best quality images. So sleep well tonight and get ready for 24 hours of nonstop Adventist Youth Ministry streamed live from around the world. God bless Nick Kross
