Hi all. Happy New Year! Had a booking for this Sunday confirmed by my new agent. He told me about 3 weeks ago that I would need to sign and return booking contract to him. Despite repeated reminders via Facebook messaging he hadnt sent me the contract. He assured me the booking was going ahead. Then today when he gave me the clients contact details I called her to say hello, etc. We got cut off so I called her back and left voice message. She texts me back telling me that she never received the booking contract so didnt know what was happening and so has cancelled the party. Having told my agent he tells me that he did send her contract. Not he had received the signed contract but jsut that it had been sent. So he didnt receive the contract. I am angry. Its Friday now, two days before the engagement. I will have to wait until Monday to speak to Equity as they are closed. Any advice would be appreciated.
