Hi all, I dont currently own a Suburban but i have several mates who have or do and I am looking at getting one myself as soon as I can sell another couple of cars (anyone want a Hilux or a Troopy ). I went to look at a Suburban yesterday which seems to be in pretty good condition with low kms (188000), its a diesel LS 9 seater. I was a little disappointed in the pickup under acceleration as I had heard that these motors were quicker, but the owner informed me that this one had no turbo, sure enough when I popped the bonnet, no turbo. He also told me that it is a smaller diesel, not the 6.5! I thought the Holden Suburbans were only available in 5.7petrol or 6.5 turbo diesel? I couldnt find anything on the compliance plate to tell me what size the engine is and the owners manual only had the 5.7 petrol or 6.5 turbo diesel listed.
