Hi all! I have removed the thread regarding the issue at the dane National. My post was meant to educate, and yes, to admonish those who brought sick dogs to the show, and for those who knew and did not turn those sick dogs in to the show committee. In light of emails, phone calls and other events, there were many more show exhibitors that knew and did not do anything. In all fairness, maybe the majority of people that knew, did not realize the proper protocol in reporting. Let me reiterate that if anyone brings sick dogs to a show, and you ask them to leave and they do not, then it IS your responsibility to turn them into the akc field rep for removal. And not to make a damned big deal of it AFTER YOU GET HOME from the show! If you knew at the show, then you should have said something. That is our responsibility to our dogs. The thread was not meant to be a witch hunt or a shit storm. Education and re education was the key here. No need to reply. If things get hairy, then Im deleting the comments.
