Hi all, I know everyone has their views about the Lost Dogs Home, good, bad or indifferent. This page is about getting lost pets back with their owners not to debate the pros and cons of their service. Ive removed the post that was put up about Scruffy but if you want to check it out youll find it currently plastered all over the LDH wall. My personal view is that yes they do have a high kill rate but they are also the first place anyone goes to find their lost pet and if pets are chipped and registered they can get home very quickly. Im not looking to start a debate - but please lets just keep this page about getting animals home. There is a file on here with a list of people with scanners - please check the list and if someone on there can scan the found pet then great. There are also no-kill shelters where you can take found pets. Some of these will be listed in the files section too. Ill see if I can get an up to date list set up just for this. Thanks :)
