Hi all just an update finally back on track and all going well so far had the last of my tubes out tonight and have been up and walking around, lung is reinflated and working OK still doing some breathing exercises, the rest of the OP is on track had stomach drain\pump out about lunch time so on the right track forward scan looked good with the gastric work couldnt see any items left behind so a good sign. Great way to lose a couple of kilos, cut it out, not recommended, hard part will be the liquid diet for a few months but will see how I go. Had some good news Doctor said I will be able to continue drinking red wine and maybe the odd beer in a couple of weeks happy about that. Still have a journey and readjustments to some life style, pain is under control for the.gastric surgery, sort of, as long as I dont move to much. Might be out of hospital in the next day or so and will be at Mums for a few weeks. thanks to everyone that has sent messages,best wishes and thoughts really appreciate it as it means a lot so hopefully no more little dramas from here on.
