Hi apologies if this question has been asked before but have any of you had any problems with eating Quorn, particularly the chicken pieces or roasts? I have read that quite a few people can have a nasty reaction to it, we have not had any as a family so far, however, on boxing day we made my elderly mother in law a sandwich with quorn and tomato and she was violently ill with vomiting etc. She had not eaten anything else and we also ate some of the same sandwich with no effect. This worried me and I researched on google. This vomiting has been reported as a potential problem. The fungi used to make Quorn is not in fact the familiar mushroom we all know but another type of fungi whose latin name means poison! That has really put me off. Opinions/experiences welcome please
