Hi everyone, Im an innocent bystander from Austin, TX, and my wife is from Milwaukee. Im a very recent (as in September 3rd), Stage 3 Advanced Colon Cancer SURVIVOR. In other words - I Beat The Bug! I found this page through a post on my wall by a friend who thought I may be able to provide some encouragement and support to Amanda Nicole - the girl whos mom (Cindy Talamantes), posted her picture last night about her recent diagnosis of Stage 4 advanced colon cancer - something that is very rare for a person of her age. Im 51. In any case, within the thread of the post, which was simply a picture of Amanda holding a sign, Cindy posted a link to Amandas GoFundMe campaign. For reasons I found mind boggling in reading the thread, a person or two suggested it might be a scam (which it is not). So, with the intent of doing the right thing for a fellow fighter/survivor, I am posting this link to Amandas GoFundMe campaign. Remember people - you dont HAVE to give. You can simply give GOOD WISHES below, to Amanda - a veteran of our United States Armed Forces, and a young mother of two. I fought and beat cancer with JOY, and with the positive encouragement, inspiration and prayers of all my friends and family. Perhaps you can provide the same for Amanda. Best wishes to you Amanda. You can very well beat this disease. I believe you will. I think God has bigger plans for you. He isnt done with you yet. For those of you who wish to see if I am legit, feel free to friend me.
