Hi everyone, Ive just been pointed in the direction of this page by a friend. I had ICP in my first pregnancy and was induced at 36+5 (due to pre-eclampsia though rather than ICP). Im now 37+2 weeks pregnant with my second baby and I have ICP again. Ive had 4 trips to the hospital in the past 2 weeks as my itching has been getting worse and worse and every time Ive been told that my bloods are normal and there is nothing they can do. Today I went again and my bile acids are 58.1 and the itching is so severe I am taking my skin off scratching so much. But once again, they tell me there is nothing they can do and Ive basically been told to man up and get on with it. Apparently it is hospital policy not to induce for ICP unless there is decreased fetal movement. Im currently taking 750mg urso, the maximum piriton I can and slathering myself in creams and lotions. If anyone has any advice or suggestions for anything else I can do it would be most greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance :)
