Hi everyone! Our 3 yr sponsorship of ImagineCup@UPM wrapped up last year, but the winning collaboration continues! MyBiz had a fruitful and enjoyable relationship with UPM since 2011. Dr, Ramlan Mahmood, Dr. Rusli Abdullah and Dr. Razali Yaakob have been truly excellent partners in our joint initiative to increase the skills and competitiveness of UPM Students in the Global Software arena. Over the past three years, we saw the Imagine Cup teams we sponsored reach greater heights of success (in our 2nd year, UPM took 2 of the top 3 National prizes) and in the final year, with the Imagine Cup format changed, the teams entered the MDeC awards and 1st and 2nd place – a testament to the hard work, time and effort of the students, FSKTM faculty and MyBiz collaboration. This year, our cash prizes take the form of UPM MyTalent FYP Grants and Awards: At the culmination of their FYP project in Semester 7, Fourth year Students can present their FYP to UPM/MyBiz panel. Up to 4 teams will receive a UPM MyTalent FYP Award (1st- RM4,000, 2nd – RM3,000, 3rd – RM2,000 and 4th – RM1,000) The Award is open to ALL UPM FYP students. Please note that the award is not automatic – if only 2 teams enter for the UPM MyTalent Award, it does not mean both teams automatically get an award! Awards are based on innovativeness, relevance, functionality, completeness, presentation and delivery. So 4th years - a great FYP will win you CASH! In addition, MyBiz will be involved in 2 other events: MyDay@MyBiz - to be held at The Gardens, Kuala Lumpur MyLife@MyBiz - to be held at UPM More on this later!!
