Hi everyone! Seeking agreement as we launch the business tomorrow. As you know, I left Corporate America to go into the macncheese business. It is more than a business to me. It is an opportunity to make others smile, to treat people well, and make people feel like they are at home with family. Via good food, and music (and maybe even a song or two), I hope to create something unique in Los Angeles. To do my part to be a light in this world, and hopefully to earn enough to sustain myself. Everyone says It will be fine Ive heard it from: The Press, my friends, customers, and those who just stroll by. I believe it will be well. This is super hard, but nothing is too hard for God! He has spoken to me very clearly DO NOT give up. So I ask for you to pray that tomorrow (and every day) will go smoothly: that there will be no confusion, drama, equipment failures, waste, theft, idleness, attitudes, etc. That he would ensure the right circle of people are around me personally and professionally, and give me strong discernment. Also, that I can still have time and energy to visit with loved ones and fellowship with friends, and volunteer in the community. And that God would send people from all over the world. And that they would leave thinking, There is something different about this place. Maybe they buy my book or my CD, and are encouraged. Maybe they eat a plate of macncheese and Roast Beef and think of their Grandmother. I dont know. But I wait with expectation, hoping to see what God has in store.
