Hi everyone! Thanks for adding me, Carol :). Just thought Id introduce myself: Im a South African born Australian. I have ADD (Inattentive form). I was diagnosed with ME/CFS and Fibromyalgia 14 years ago. I also have PCOS and GERD. Ive recently been diagnosed with Kienbocks Disease (Avascular Necrosis of the wrist) in my right hand, but it looks like Ive got it in my left hand/wrist too. Its this that has started me looking into my genes for some answers. May not have anything to do with the MTHFR mutation, but I just dont know at this stage. My mutations, as highlighted by Dr Amy Yaskos MPA test (DNA analysis by 23andme) are as follows: COMT V158M homozygous COMT H62H homozygous VDR Taq heterozygous VDR Fok homozygous (ff?) MAO A R297R heterozygous MTHFR C677T heterozygous MTR A2756G heterozygous MTRR 11 homozygous BHMT 8 heterozygous AHCY 1,19 heterozygous CBS C699T heterozygous CBS A360A heterozygous Looking at this list, I guess the MTHFR gene isnt my biggest problem. Perhaps someone can tell me if it could be causing any of my problems, perhaps in conjunction with some of my other mutations?
