Hi everyone. Welcome to September. If you live in and around southeastern Michigan, I want to invite you to a new in-person and in-depth year-long Bible study that I will be teaching that starts Sept. 15 and runs every Monday night. Well study Hebrews and 1st Peter for 30 months, using curriculum from Explorer’s Bible Study. These epistles are purposely paired because they have so much to say to us in our present world where Christianity is ridiculed, absolute truth is denied, self-indulgence is applauded, careful study of Scripture is neglected, and the proclamation of the Gospel is increasingly forbidden. As it was in Jesus’ time, the culture that we live in is increasingly hostile to those who follow Jesus and believe the Bible. I believe this may be one of the most relevant, practical studies I have ever taught. There will be couples groups and groups for men and women. We will not have child care.
